The ACC® surface treatment system, a new and more effective surface treatment for cast surfaces, is applied to both VPT® and the other V-pulleys we manufacture. Among its other advantages, it provides high resistance to chemicals such as petroleum, machine oil and hydraulic oil. Primer and topcoat paint can be applied directly to the ACC® surface.
