E Series gearboxes are gearboxes consisting of a worm and worm-wheel stage. They are used in applications where the input and output shafts must be at 90º. The hardened and ground worm material (21NiCrMo2) and the wheel made of phosphor bronze (Gz12SnCuNi) provide high strength and efficiency.
